Our story began in September 2020 at Red Rock Canyon Grill in Norman. We were both waiting tables while attending the University of Oklahoma, where we quickly became good friends. Little did Haley know, Canon actually tried asking her out more than once over the years... but between missed hints and terrible timing, the message never quite landed.

Fast forward to the summer of 2023, we reconnected at (you guessed it) Red Rock. After catching up and a little encouragement from a trusted friend (thanks Chanté!), Haley decided to ask Canon out to lunch. The rest was history! While Haley may have claimed the first date, Canon made sure to officially ask her to be his girlfriend, so we'll call it even.

Over the next almost three years, we filled our calendars with movie and game nights, ski trips and lake weekends, evenings with friends and family, countless FaceTimes and phone calls, and plenty of highway miles as we navigated long distance. We also developed a tradition of late-night Waffle House runs that happened just often enough to become a core memory. Then, during a "last-minute" ski trip to Crested Butte, Canon got down on one knee and asked Haley to be his wife. (Spoiler alert: she said yes.) AHHH!

Now, we're so excited to officially kick off this wedding season and celebrate with the people who mean the most to us. Thank you for being such an important part of our story and for joining us as we become husband and wife. It's going to be one hell of a party, and we can't wait to celebrate with you!
